The Morton Arboretum’s Big Rock & Heritage Trail on 35mm Film

The hike to Big Rock and Heritage Trail at the Morton Arboretum is one of our favorite hikes at the Arb. It winds through the wooded forest with views of the glacial rock that has been a landmark at the Morton Arboretum for generations.

From there, Heritage trail is about a 1 mile loop that winds through the meadow and hilly woodlands. I especially love this walk because the landscape changes so much in such a short walk. Here are some photos from this past summer on 35mm film.
