Cascade Lakes Relay
While we were camping out at Diamond Lake and visiting Crater Lake National Park the Cascade Lakes Relay was going on. As someone who loves endurance and the art of it I loved watching these runners take off from the start line at Diamond Lake Resort, and from there they were going to do a relay race all the way to Bend, Oregon. That is 132 miles! Divided between 8-12 people per team.
I have done a few triathlons myself, but these relay teams were on a whole other level with their team spirit. Check out the photos below and you will see exactly what I am talking about.
My Dad beat all the runners to the start line!
My Dad decorated his car!
When my Dad saw all the vehicles decorated, he went behind my back and decorated his car! The biggest part of this trip was to spend time with him… and then we had to drive all around Oregon like this. So funny!
