Diamond Lake Resort
Diamond Lake Resort, Oregon’s gem of the cascades, was once a small fishing village in the 1920’s has evolved into a modern day family friendly resort with plenty of outdoor activities. It is located 11 miles to the North of Crater Lake National Park. They have modern day and vintage cabins, a motel, studios and an RV Park. There are two restaurants onsite: one at the main lodge and South Shore Pizza just down the road on the south side of Diamond Lake.
Diamond Lake Resort has hiking and biking trails, horseback riding, and it is a favorite for fisherman looking for rainbow trout with boat rentals available onsite. In the winter, it is well known for skiing, snowshoeing, snowmobiling and tubing.
The Main Lodge
The main restaurant and guest registrations are all located within the main lodge.
The Store
At their store onsite you can rent a boat and bicycles (there is a paved trail that goes all the way around diamond lake). They also have merchandise, camp-style food and frozen meals.
Camping at Diamond Lake
Camping at Diamond Lake is available through the Umpqua National Forest. There are 238 campsites available at the Diamond Lake Campground with picnic tables and fire pits. They have flush toilets, showers and two boat ramps.
Camping Neighbors
Diamond Lake has an abundance of wild life to see. The ground squirrels are very entertaining to watch and waking up to the flock of ducks was such a wonderful treat.
