Photographing Nature on a Cloudy Day and Why I Love Black & White

Cloudy days present a different kind element when photographing nature. The sky is like one giant soft box and I love working out in the field and focusing on those subtle shadows. There is just something about a day like today that just calls for black and white.

Black and White tells a different kind of story, one with minimal thought, it hits you different. And that’s why I love it.
